Brass Plaques

Different types of plaques are suitable for different types of properties and environments.

Engraving into Brass - We engrave brass plaques with your custom wording or corporate logo. Our plaques are engraved, filled & coated in a UV stable lacquer making them suitable for indoors or out.

We engrave into various materials using a computer aided system.
We also chemical etch into metal. Engraving is the ultimate way of producing
permanent signs which are very long lasting.
Brass Plaques. Brass plaques are 1.5mm or 3mm thick and are deep
engraved.

Cast and Etched Metal Plaques provide an image of permanence, memory, and elegance. Ideal for prestigious signs for name plaques and internal directional signs for the leisure industry.

We use a variety of materials including bronze, brass, aluminum, zinc, stainless steel and copper, and a variety of methods including casting, etching, and engraving - and provides complete services including design, production and installation.

Plaques also vary in manufacturing time, intracut lettering in a plaque is the fastest plaque, where as ink filling plaques takes more time

Precise, professional installation of your bronze and metal plaques is just as important as its design and fabrication. In fact it may be more important. Installation is the final touch, and your image depends on it being done right.

How We Make our Plaques

The first stage is engraving the plaque. To ensure a perfect cut, we do at least 2 passes. After a desired depth is reached we begin the paint filling process. In this case we have an off-white colour for the lettering as this plaque will be bronzed. The paint fill in process happens. Edges worked for smooth finish. Plaque is machine linished until the perfect finish is achieved. The plaque is then coated in a UV stable lacquer, dried & recoated to help ensure the longest life of the plaque. The drying process begins. When the lacquer is touch dry the plaques are then baked to further harden the surface of the lacquer.

Bronze Plaques. Bronze is mainly used for commemorative plaques.

Top quality engravers brass is available in three thicknesses - 1.5mm, 2mm & 3mm. These can be up to any size up to 24" (600mm). Lettering can simple be engraved or providing the letters are at least 10mm in height they can be infilled with colours.

As well as brass and acrylic plaques we also do aluminium.

Aluminium plaques are ideal in places where they will be exposed to a lot of weathering. We use a marine grade strength of aluminium so if they will be exposed to excessive water or near the ocean, an aluminium plaque might be just what your looking for.
