The key to edge-lit technology lies in the diffusion panel.

Developed as a light source for LCD computer monitors, the panel channels light from its edges and reflects it evenly across the face. This allows lamps to be mounted on the edges of the panel, yielding a dramatic reduction in box profile (in many cases, a depth of no more than 50mm).

All ultra-slim lightboxes / edge lit lightboxes are custom made to size up to about 4.9metres in length and some of the options include weatherproofing boxes, double-sided boxes, non-illuminated boxes, hinged and lockable boxes. Lightboxes start at 38mm thick, the Starfire 38 and the frameless boxes start at 38mm thick. Double-sided boxes start at 45mm thick. We also offer cheaper snapper frames if required.
For maximum image vibrancy, We recommend you use a transparency poster print that lets light through effectively as opposed to traditional paper posters.
