A new family business has been , designed, established and created ,in a new style 'take out food concept , located in Maroubra called The World On A Plate
The owners, an entrepreneurial family were looking for an upmarket signage specialist company, to take on the task of building them an unusual oval sign to their designers specifications.

They wanted something really different, to stand out from the standard lightbox signage cluttered along the street.

The World on Your Plate sign contract was awarded to iSpace’s sign division Signs360 because of its ability and experience in building custom made signs.

The task was to build a strong well balanced sign for their exterior, under canopy location. It was completed in under two week time frame undertaken by Signs360

The entire project was created with the following process:

- First of all an oval lay out was designed on computer and then reproduced in real life size lay out

- Square tubing had to be bent with our special bending equipment to the design of the template. The same process was used for the beading which hold the perpex fronts in place.

- There after the two bent aluminium pieces were welded to form an oval shapes, the side pieces / mounts were then also welded in between the two oval shapes. This new structure formed a raised oval shape box. Side sheeting was then attached to firm the sides of the oval, the beading also had to be mounted specially into shape to act as a holding mechanism.

- The complete oval box was powder coated in a satin black finish for long lasting exterior quality to withstand the elements.

- Once the powder coating process had been completed the lights were installed to create the illumination using cool white florescence with ballasts designed for outdoor use.

- The images for the faces were digitally printer using a top of the range Roland machine at 360 dpi using outdoor inks and exterior quality self adhesive film. These images after drying out was then mounted on to the two oval cut-out perpex faces.

- They were then adhered to create the completed overall look.

The extremely high quality finish sign box complements the outstanding quality design, The hanging down pole system had to be custom adapted to accommodate the slanted overhang ceiling to create a level and balanced appearance.
