Antalya - Tasmania

In November 2007 Signs360 was approuched by a builder in Tasmania. Pat Kallalea, did some serious research and from a word and mouth recomendation decided to contact signs360 a division of ispace to come up with a solution for a metal signage nameplate fro his new home which he had just finished renovating.

"Antalya" holiday home will be rented out for the chrismas holidays and Pat wanted some suggestions and a solution to the name plate before the first guests arrived.

After contacting ispace to come up with the artwork and a solution for a wheatherable signs. Signs360 recommended a stainless steel 5mm sign made of individual letters oin marine grade stainless steel which would be raised on pins to form a three dimentional effect with a natural shadow.

The project was handeled in the following way:

- 6 different type styles was emailed to Pat to sellect a preferred type face.

- an original photograph was emailed to signs360 and 1st design a division of iSpace mocked up the artwork which gave the owner Pat the opportunity to see the job completed look before going to manufacture stage.

- Once everything was agreed and in place our lasers cutters began precison cutting to scale. Once this was completed the edges were polished using sophicaficated machinery. The letters were then specially treaded with chemicals for easy cleaning in the future.

- 50mm pins were neatly welded onto the rear of the letters to enable them to be attached to the wall as carefully laid out according to a template.

- Spaces were then cut and placed into the pinsd to ensure an even distance from the wall given a uniformed look.

- The completed letters with a paper template were carefull packages and sent off to Tasmania intime as requested by the client.
