MTV Music award 2008 - feature Sign for Sony Playstation 3

In March/ April 2008 Signs360 was approuched by the creative director of MTV Cat Raven.

It was a real privilege for Signs360 to be involved with the MTV Australia Awards.

Working specifically for the Playstation stand, Signs360 developed a truly amazing, truly original sign solution.

The final product, comprising a box with wood-cut lettering and a baked enamel finish, took everyone’s breath away.

The world famous MTV Awards are recognised as a hub of contemporary music, fashion and lifestyle. Comprising red carpet events, fan interaction opportunities, celebrity showcases and the awards ceremony itself, the MTV Australia Awards 2008 event was a nonstop rip-roaring success.

Mtv were looking for a Sony Playstation neon Sign to be used a backdrop for a stage set for interviews for the 2008 music awards.

The job was turned around in under 2weeks to meet the clients deadline.

A box 80mm deep x 4 meters long. A box was manufactured and painted with dulux paint.

The face letters were made in mdf 16mm wood and perfectly sprayed ina high quality spray booth.

The Neonwas ruby red top of the range technolux glass.Each unit was bent with perfection.

The 3 dimentional lettere attached to the black box and the the neon neatly wired hiding all cabling.

A world Class Neon sign made for a world class production broadcasted to 2 billion people around the world.
