In June 2008 Signs360 was approuched by the design firm Mandos design to manufacture and install 14 signs around the country. The project was turned around in 14 days accordign to the clients very tight deadline.
PPB: A new partnership equals new signage
PPB is one of Australia’s leading independent strategic and advisory practices. With a national team of 28 partners and over 200 staff, PPB provides unique and imaginative solutions in any specialised services area.
A new partnership combining the strengths of the Brisbane and Sydney practices of SimsParters with the Melbourne and Sydney practices of PPB has been created, introducing a single practice with a structure designed to support the values and unique culture of this company. PPB is one of the largest recovery, forensic and advisory practices in Australia, with specialised industry expertise and increased partner involvement in assignments.
The merging of Sims and PPB into an entirely new partnership meant an updating of PPB’s image and branding. Signs360 were approached by PPB’s advertising agency to design, manufacture and install 14 signs countrywide. This image update required the Sims branch signage to be changed and the PPB signage to be changed to the new corporate look and logo.
The head office of PPB, a particularly significant location, is situated in the MLC building in the heart of Sydney on the 46th floor. This location required two signs; one in the reception area and another in the lift area. PPB recognised the ability of Signs360 to create the kind of signage that impresses onlookers even before they delve into the actual services of the business being represented, and thus awarded Signs360 this challenging contract. Signs360 installed the newly designed sign boards in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, New Castle, and other areas, a project which was completed in only two weeks.
The signs were all custom-made and constructed according to the size required for the particular location. They were manufactured out of wood with router-cut letters and logos. The complete project was manufactured in Signs360’s Sydney factory, shipped all over the country and then installed by our national installation teams.
A signs are clean and simple with 18mm sprayed letter which are baked in ovens for a perfect finish. These letters were mounted on a matt polyurathane treated board. All fitting were consealed to give a clean silky finish.
PPB’s directors were very impressed with the service, time frame and quality of the products Signs360 created for them, which included the use of polyurethane on the signs, creating a superb finish to the final look.
