Wicked Weasel's "new slick look"

In December 2007 Signs360 was approuched by the owners of Wicked Weasel to come up with a concept to suit their environment and create an upmarket top end look for their brand new Sydney site.

Wicked Weasel Pty Ltd is an Australian company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of high quality swimwear and underwear for women.

Wicked Weasel manufacture and sell the sexiest and highest quality micro bikinis and g-strings available.
This naughty range of bikinis, knickers and accessories have been exported worldwide to date. The new store in Sydney is located near Kings Cross at:

Their bikinis, knickers and most other products are manufactured completely at their premises in the Byron Bay Arts & Industrial Estate, Australia. iSpace was assigned to create a completely new image for their store front. This included the window signage as well as the internal and exterior signage.

A huge amount of trust was assigned to ispace and Signs360 to produce world class signage sparing no expense. As part of our commitment to quick turn around time was required, Signs360 had all of this signage manufactured and installed in under 3 weeks as per the client’s request.

The new look Wicked Weasel store can stand anywhere in the world for overall aesthetics, practicality and quality workmanship. The extremely high quality finishes complements the outstanding quality of products sold in the store.

The entire project consisted of:

- A complete perspex fabricated lightbox in ice white. 2400mm x 4500mm x 280mm with 10mm laser cut perspex letters with vinyl applied to the faces of these letters in the corporate colours as per the client's pms colours of their brand's identity. The hanging system of the sign box had to be custom adapted to accomodate the slanted ceiling overhang to create a level and balanced look.

- Two very large slim line 28mm lightboxes were custom made to size to accomodate the area disigrated (designated?) in the design of the store. The images were digitally printed in full colour at 360 dpi on Duratance / backlite film to allow maximum light transmition and clarity. These prints in the boxes are easily removable with a suction cap and magnetic system and changed at any time by the store staff. These lightboxes are made using T5 fluresence a realitivily new technology in lightboxes in the signage world.

- Two sets of Logo's (logos - no apstropheno caps) and wording: Router cut in mdf 18mm individual letters as per the brand artwork, sprayed, then oven baked to produce a magnificent finish - quality of the highest order. Custom made pins were then attached to the rear of the letters to allow a floating effect creating a drop shadow look. The letter's (letters - no apstrophe) were mounted, spaced evenly according to specifications on a template. One set was installed in the front window and the other set above the counter area as can be seen in the photo's (photos - no apostrophe).

- Two sets of both the logo and the wording were applied in vinyl to the inside of the windows to create the final look. The vinyl graphics are also a prevention for people walking into the glass window fronts. This is required by council specifications in the safety of the public.
